Over the course of several decades, Richard has built-up a sizeable archive of books, magazines, brochures, press releases, photos, styling sketches, blueprints and assorted ephemera. These span the arc of motoring and motor sport history, from the dawn of the automobile to last week. He routinely calls upon this archive when writing books and articles. Since 2018, Richard has also offered a service whereby he researches the backstories of individual cars for clients. He has been employed by enthusiasts, dealers and auction houses to delve into the life and times of everything from single-seaters to coachbuilt flights of fantasy.
